Desert & King George's Hall Landscape

This stylised artwork presents a desert landscape with layered rocky formations and sparse vegetation under a clear blue sky. Two tigers move across the scene, creating contrast between wildlife and an arid environment. The composition feels illustrative, using flat colours, bold outlines, and simplified shapes. The presence of greenery in the foreground softens the dryness, while the clouds add movement and balance.

 

 

The King George's Hall aesthetically showcased in black and white. Highlighting the architectural beauty in simple but yet impactful way using our unique style with the help of 0.5pt pen.

Overall, both artefacts conveys different meaning. The desert artwork depicting a sense of survival, isolation, and the fragile relationship between animals and their habitats. While the architectural artefact convey historic prestige leaning towards emphasising how architecture can symbolise power, heritage and grandeur,

Animayo Poster

A honeycomb colourful poster advertising ANIMAYO 2026, an international animation festival. Featuring a purple hand drawn floral background, bold title at the top, and a red callout inviting entries for a Spanish-language animation category with a €3,000 prize.

It highlights global participation, Oscar qualification, eligibility rules, and submission dates (July 2025–February 2026), ending with a note about the festival’s conferences and events. Placed on a see through border, mirroring the floral design.

 

The design was achieved by concept & sketching, colouring the image and the using the photoshop to edit the flower. Using magnetic tool to get lid of the unwanted parts. With the help of layer style, I used burned effect improving the visual appearance of the flower. Finally using a see through border to add the text on the poster. Placing an illustrator designed budge to showcase the call for action. Giving the poster an outstanding visual appeal. Paying attention to details, typography and maintaining balance, minimalist and consistency in our design work.

Raffle Ticket Design

Concept & Sketches Layout

A series of hand drawn raffle cards were created, improving the designs for better outcomes.

Digital Drawing

Used the illustrator to reimagine the design, using the shapes and the white selection tool to adjust the curves. Adding some decorations, earth tone palette filling and then grouping all the objects together. 

Designing the Raffle Ticket:

The raffle ticket was crafted in InDesign, adhering to precise dimensions for a polished final product. Layouts were structured using grids and rulers to ensure perfect alignment, while typographic choices were made to establish a clear visual hierarchy. Key information was emphasised using icons, allowing the ticket to communicate its details at a glance. A minimalist design approach was adopted to create a lasting visual impression, complemented by a thoughtfully curated colour palette inspired by deforestation themes. This balance of simplicity and meaning ensures the ticket is both visually striking and conceptually resonant. Printing the document to out for display.

Design process 

.Research

. concept & tracing the image in illustrator

. Emulating Kanga cloth design elements. Using text, central motif and the grid pattern. Making use of bold colours to communicate, visually retelling the story in deforestation context. Iconic inscriptions embbeded reading 'Acheni Ufyekaji wa MIti" meaning "Stop Deforestation".

 

Printing Process

Used a large format textile printer, roll to roll inkjet. The machine hoovering right to left successfully  transferring the design on to the garment. The process is more sustainable and end to end.

 

T-Shirt Printing

 

Campaigning for deforestation, creating a landscape painting and a portrait designs to create awareness. Printing the images on the T-shirts, using heat transfer method displaying them in exhibition.
